QuestionForge is an AI study-material SaaS product that turns customer-provided content into quizzes, flashcards, summaries, study guides, and practice exams. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Account information such as your email address, authentication status, and profile details needed to operate your account.
  • Source content you provide, including pasted text, uploaded files, and URLs used to generate study materials.
  • Generated outputs such as quizzes, flashcards, summaries, study guides, practice exams, export choices, and related usage metadata.
  • Technical and analytics data such as device, browser, pages viewed, generation counts, model usage, logs, and error diagnostics.
  • Payment and subscription status from payment processors such as Stripe, Creem, and manual Alipay or WeChat Pay confirmation workflows. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

How we use information

  • To provide the product, authenticate users, process uploaded content, generate study materials, export files, and maintain account usage history.
  • To monitor reliability, prevent abuse, measure product usage, and improve generation quality and performance.
  • To manage subscriptions, credits, invoices, refunds, and customer support requests.
  • To comply with legal, payment processor, tax, security, and fraud-prevention requirements.

Service providers

  • We use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Vercel for hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring; Stripe and Creem for hosted checkout or merchant-of-record payment operations where configured; manual Alipay or WeChat Pay confirmation for early China payments where offered; and AI providers such as Alibaba Cloud DashScope or DeepSeek-compatible APIs to generate study materials.
  • These providers process information only as needed to deliver the service, secure the platform, or meet payment and legal obligations.

AI providers and model disclosure

  • QuestionForge is an independent study-material generation tool. It uses third-party AI providers, including Alibaba Cloud DashScope and DeepSeek-compatible APIs, to transform user-provided content into quizzes, flashcards, summaries, and practice questions. QuestionForge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these AI model providers.
  • When you generate study materials, we may send your uploaded files, pasted text, URLs, selected settings, and generation instructions to Alibaba Cloud DashScope, DeepSeek-compatible APIs, or another configured AI provider solely to provide the requested output.
  • We do not sell your content. Do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential business information, or content you do not have the right to process.

Content and AI processing

  • When you submit source content, it may be sent to an AI provider to create the requested quiz, flashcards, summary, study guide, or practice exam.
  • Do not upload content that you are not allowed to process, share, or use for study-material generation.
  • Generated outputs may contain mistakes. Review generated material before relying on it for exams, training, or professional use.

Retention and deletion

  • We keep account, usage, source, and generated content for as long as needed to provide the service, support users, meet legal obligations, and prevent abuse.
  • You can request deletion of your account or specific stored content by contacting support.

Your choices and rights

  • You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information where applicable by contacting support.
  • You can choose not to provide optional content, but some product features may not work without source material.
